Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. Her parents are Malaysian as well as from Sri Lanka. Padukone played in the national championships as a teenager but gave up her sport career in order to be a model. Padukone is a native of Mangalorean origins and speaks Konkani as her mother tongue. Padukone is a village within the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend, who retired in the late 1980s. She has a mother who runs who worked for a travel agent, is also from this village.
